Trek Rides also uses “virtual stops” to enable commuters to be picked up and dropped off at a location within a geofenced area shown on the Trek Rides app. This means commuters only need to make short walks to where they want to be picked up and from where their destinations are, rather than having to wait at a designated, physical bus stop at a fixed time.
